I will be honest; for some time, this has been a goal of mine to create something for myself. I feel like it’s a bit of a love letter to my two young girls. To show them that they can create anything they want and to not shy away from anything, even if there is some fear. This past summer was filled with a ton of life changing moments for me and I was reminded that life is short. Things can change in a blink of an eye. I decided that I needed to start doing more instead of just thinking about doing more. So, I started making this website and here it is.
I am mom of two young girls, a daughter to a mom that is in need of care, a wife, a sister, a friend and a fitness instructor.
My yoga journey started at Goodlife fitness, where I tried taking a Bodyflow class. It reminded me of my favorite sport…skating! Except off the ice. I loved it so much that I started to teach it in 2004.
I started teaching various fitness classes: Newbody, core classes, circuit classes and even personal trained for a year. I wanted to bring even more to my students, so I took yoga training through Yogafit. receiving my 200 hours.
I am currently trained in CX worx, Bodyflow, Yoga, Soulbodybarre.
All of which I love to teach.
I am certified in Fitness Instructor Specialist, Personal Trainer Specialist, Mind Body Specialist through CANFITPRO.
The style of Yoga that I teach is a hatha yoga. My focus is on technique while strengthening, stretching and integrating different muscle groups. Teaching how to move in and out of poses effortlessly. I really like to work and target the core.
I thought this website would be a great place to add information and videos that I can't always provide in a fast-paced gym environment. I get some questions or requests, and this might be a great way for everyone to be able to access this from home.
